FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Miami VIS Claim Season 5 Championship at On Her Level 3×3 — Undefeated Run, No Subs, All Heart

In a display of endurance, chemistry, and will, Edreana Jackson, Natalie Pineda, and Mia Leite carried the Miami VIS from start to finish, playing every minute of the tournament and overcoming each opponent with a balance of grit and precision.
Notably, Miami VIS co-founders Najja Moon and Jaki Goldner were unavailable to compete due to personal reasons, making the team’s undefeated championship run even more remarkable.
Leading the charge, Mia Leite was named Tournament MVP, a recognition of her consistency, leadership, and ability to rise in key moments throughout the competition.
The Miami VIS also extend deep appreciation to Melanie Jordan, founder and organizer of the league, whose continued commitment to building infrastructure and opportunity for women’s basketball creates spaces like this for players to compete, connect, and thrive.
The Season 5 title adds to the growing legacy of the Miami VIS as both a competitive force and a cultural project — one that exists at the intersection of sport, storytelling, and community.
