Miami, FL —

The Miami VIS is getting deeper.

Lucie Castagne, Taylor Valladay, Dylan Gonzalez and Dakota Gonzalez are joining the roster as the VIS heads into its next stretch of competition across 3v3 and 5v5 play.

Castagne is already a familiar face around the team after suiting up with The Miami VIS earlier this summer. She’ll return this fall as part of one of the VIS 3v3 teams.

Valladay is a first-time VIS signing and will join the 5v5 roster.

Dylan and Dakota Gonzalez will also make their VIS debuts this fall, with both players competing in 3v3 and 5v5.

“Every one of them makes us better.” said Miami VIS General Manager Najja Moon. “As we continue to build out our roster, we want to keep raising the level of play and putting together teams that can really compete.”

The additions give The Miami VIS more depth and flexibility as the team continues to grow beyond a single roster, league or season.

For Castagne, the signing is a continuation of a relationship that began earlier this summer. For Valladay and the Gonzalez sisters, it marks their first opportunity to represent The Miami VIS.

“We’re building a group that can show up in a lot of different spaces,” Moon said. “3v3, 5v5, tournaments, leagues — wherever there’s good basketball, we want to be able to put a VIS team on the floor.”

The four players will join the existing Miami VIS roster for competition this fall.
