WNBA All-Star Weekend — Chicago

July 24-26, 2026

  • VIS World is organizing a group trip to Chicago for WNBA All-Star Weekend.
  • The trip is designed for members of the VIS World community who want to attend All-Star events together and experience the weekend as a group.
  • Travel accommodations, lodging, and event tickets can be purchased individually or as part of a package.

    Roundtrip Frontier flight from Fort Lauderdale to Chicago

    Shared Airbnb accommodations for the weekend

Participants who book the full package save $50 compared to purchasing each component separately.

Sunday July 26

  • Flight: Chicago ✈️ Fort Lauderdale – Frontier Airlines, departs 8:05am

💰 What’s included in the $500 trip price?

  • Round-trip flight (FLL ↔ ORD) & (ORD ↔ FLL)
  • One (1) WNBA All Star game ticket (July 25)
  • Two (2) night shared Air BnB accommodation in Chicago
  • VIS World staff coordination and support
🚍 How will transportation work in Chicago?

The group will primarily navigate the city using Chicago public transportation throughout the weekend.

Each traveler will receive a pre-purchased unlimited transit pass to use during the trip, giving the group access to:

  • CTA trains
  • CTA buses
  • Airport transit connections
  • Transportation to All-Star Weekend events and activities

We may also use Ubers/rideshares occasionally depending on timing, weather, or group needs, but public transit will be the primary mode of transportation for the trip.

Participants should expect a weekend with a lot of movement throughout the city, including walking between stations, venues, restaurants, and events.

🎒 What should I pack?
  • Government-issued photo ID (TSA required)
  • Small carry-on bag (under 14″H X 18″W X 8″D to avoid baggage fees)
  • Comfortable clothes + game day outfit
  • Toiletries + essentials for two night stay
  • Chargers, headphones, etc.
🏨 How will rooms be assigned?
  • Shared accommodations ( depends on group size).
  • Rooming lists will be shared before departure.
  • If you have a roommate request, let us know during registration.
📲 How will we communicate during the trip?
  • We’ll create a WhatsApp group chat for all travelers to share updates, flight info, and game logistics.
🔄 What’s the cancellation/refund policy?

A nonrefundable deposit is available to reserve your spot. Deposits are applied toward your total balance and cannot be refunded if you cancel. The remaining balance must be paid in full by July 1, 2026. If your balance is not paid by this deadline, your reserved spot may be released.

Refund eligibility for payments made beyond the deposit depends on the type of package or ticket purchased:

  • Flight payments are nonrefundable once purchased.

  • Lodging payments are refundable up to 7 days prior to the trip departure date.

  • Game ticket payments are refundable up to 48 hours prior to the event date.

Package transfers may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on timing and availability.

🏀 How do I register?
  • Sign up and pay online via our public programs page at miamivis.com/club-schedule
  • Registration closes July 10 or when seats are filled.
🚨 Anything else I should know?
  • Frontier is a low-cost carrier — bring snacks and expect fees for checked bags.
  • Please be on time for flights and game — we’re moving as a group.
  • Bring your VIS World energy — we’re representing Miami on the road!
